SWEET POTATO BONDA...CRISPY ,YUMMY

Sweet potato is very good anti oxidant. It is highly nutritional, rich fibre content ,filling and delicious. I have tried this bonda which came out very delicious and very good snack .
Let's see how it is prepared. 
Ingredients 
Sweet potato 200g
Chilli 2
Ginger 1 small piece
Lemon juice 1 table spoon 
Curry, coriender leaves little
Ajwain 1 tsp
Jeera powder 1tsp
Pepper powder
Salt as required 
For tempering 
Mustard 2 tsp
Urud dal 1 tsp
Channa dal 2 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Asafoetida 1 tsp
Oil for tempering and frying
FOR BATTER
Gram flour 1 cup
Rice flour 1/2 cup
Baking soda 1 pinch
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Colour (optional) 1 pinch
Salt 1 pinch
Pre preparation 
Peel the skin of sweet potato ,cook and mash .
Crush chilli and ginger. 
(you can grind in mixie also)
Preparation time 25 mins
Approximately 15 bondas 

Preparation
In a big bowl add cooked and mashed sweet potato,crushed chilli and ginger, Curry leaves and Corriender leaves ,ajwain,jeera powder,pepper and salt.

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Once it is hot add Mustard, Asafoetida, urud dal,channa dal and cumin seeds. Once splatter add to the mix.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Make equal size small ball and set aside.
In another bowl ,add gram flour,rice flour,chilli powder,colour ,baking soda and pinch of salt and mix well.
Add required water and bring to dosa batter consistency. 
Take the sweet potato ball one by one and put in batter.Coat all sides uniformly.
Heat oil in a pan. Once hot fry these bondas in a low flame
Flip the sides to fry evenly.
Once golden brown colour is attained, and bubble reduces, remove and serve hot.
It can be served with tomato sauce,coconut chutney or sambar. 
The light natural sweetness of this bonda is delicious and wonder ful evening time snacks.
